I am asking for your vote in this year’s NEC elections. I believe passionately in the strength of our union and in the power of our members when we stand together. For over ten years, I have supported and represented PCS members at every level—on the front line, in our branches, across our regions, and nationally on the NEC.
I currently serve as DWP Liverpool Branch Chair, DWP GEC Assistant Secretary, Vice Chair of the PCS North West Regional Committee, and as an NEC member. Throughout my time in PCS, I have led on branch campaigns—against office closures, for fair pay and pensions, for better terms and conditions—and I’ve worked with activists in anti‑cuts, community, anti‑racist and Anti-Fascist organising. I am proud to represent a union that never shies away from speaking the truth or taking action when it matters.
As we enter 2026, PCS faces some of the most serious national challenges in our history. Years of mismanagement have left our pensions system in crisis, with unacceptable backlogs and poor service. PCS is rightfully demanding a full, independent review and making the case for bringing pensions administration back in‑house where accountability and quality matter.

Government attacks on the CS have continued. Pay has fallen behind inflation year after year. Departments face job losses and privatisation. Delegated pay systems have created chaos and inequality. PCS must be a unifying force—fighting for a long‑term, fair, inflation‑proofed national pay strategy that restores dignity and stability to our members’ working lives.
We also face a rising tide of racism and far‑right organising. PCS challenges this hate wherever it appears, we stand proudly for equality, human rights and justice. Our union’s principled stance on Gaza—calling for a permanent ceasefire and condemning the UK’s role in continuing arms licensing—reflects our values of solidarity and humanity.
We need an NEC that is focused, united, and driven by the interests of members—not internal division. I am committed to building a strong, democratic, transparent union that listens to members and fights for them every day.
Please elect the Democracy Alliance candidates
