Regional convenors are elected each year at regional Left Unity AGMs by LU members and are responsible for organising LU regionally and reporting back to the Left Unity National Committee (LUNC). This includes organising the annual elections in their region, holding local meetings and AGMs, caucusing LU members on key decisions and driving out the slate during PCS National and Group elections.

Regional convenors act as the first point of call for LU members and you should ensure you keep in touch and update them regularly on the issues in your area and on any new LU members you recruit.
