I am seeking election to the role of DWP Assistant Group Secretary. I have been honoured to be elected to the DWP GEC last year and appointed to the DWP Equality Officer role. I have been an active  member and Rep in PCS since 2007 in two departmental Groups DWP and HMRC and Serve on both Group executive committees. Locally in my branch, NW  region and DWP Group I am an active rep,  covering industrial 

relations meetings in Universal Credit and  Work &  Health directive in my branch. I’m also the Regional secretary for the DWP North west regional committee and committee member on national North west regional committee. 

I’m passionate about equality issues and protecting the most vulnerable people in our society. 

I strongly challenge management on work based changes and decisions. Striving for a better and more accessible workplace for all.
