Felicity Flynn for PCS NEC 2026

Trade unions like PCS are the first line of defence for workers and their families. We must continue to build on our successful campaigns and legal actions to offer members much needed hope.

About Me.

I am a lead negotiator at my workplace. For the past year,  I have been working hard to ensure that our members’ rights are protected at a local and national level during the period of change caused by the Sentencing Review.

I am the trade union officer on our H&S committee and our workplace First Aider. I was the Vice Chair of the MOJ Associated Offices Branch, and in February 2026 I was elected the Branch Chair.

I sit on the Editorial Board which produces PCS People. I have been active at all levels of the union  since 2007. I have been a PCS Rep in the Culture Sector, Home Office and MOJ Groups. I have completed a TUC Diploma in Employment Law.

My Priorities.

Member Engagement and Communications – I am proud of PCS’ ethos of a member-led union.

Focus on Essentials  – I am passionate about the ‘bread and butter’ issues which make a difference to our members’ lives: pay, pensions, workplace safety, promoting a culture of dignity and respect. I have made sure we have delivered on last year’s promise to refund the levy.

Diversity – We must embrace the opportunity to open up our Conference to all members who wish to participate, whilst encouraging more people to become reps and advocates.

Democracy – If re-elected I will ensure that our union continues to listen to the voices of members and we continue to build a progressive and united PCS; a union which respects and embraces our traditions, whilst continuing to move with the times and recognise the challenges of a constantly changing modern world: the Cost of Living
Crisis, the rise of AI… PCS needs to help ensure that we are always there to support the challenges our members are facing.

Learning – Help reps by promoting union learning and development.

I am a member of PCS Democrats – for more information visit @PCS_Democrats on Twitter.
