For PCS NEC
This is my first year standing for the NEC. I am a member of the PCS Democrats and am proud to stand on the Democracy Alliance slate alongside colleagues from PCS Left Unity.
I have been a union member since I started work with what was then the Lord Chancellor’s department in 1989, and over the last 31 years have held many branch positions. In addition to being Branch Secretary, I am a Group Assistant Secretary. I am part of the PCS DTUS Pay Team, and the Covid teams for both MoJ HQ and HMCTS, and have been the DTUS lead on various projects including a policy harmonisation project and a regrading project.
Over the past year I have spent a lot of time representing members in personal cases, many of which have been Covid related.
Equality and fairness are important principles for me, and I strive to uphold them in all aspects of what I do.
In addition to being a PCS representative, I sit as a non-legal member of the Employment Tribunal.
