For R&C GEC

I joined HMRC (Inland Revenue as it was) in 1982, intending to stay for a year until I got a real job, more than 40 years later I’m still here. There have been huge changes within that time, not always for the better, and the particular groups I have always had an interest in, through personal experience, are part-time workers and carers. I have been an active rep now for approx 15 years, holding many posts but for the past couple of years I’ve been a branch secretary and have played a crucial role in our recent ballots. 

I am a Left Unity member and I am seeking election to the GEC.
