For PCS NEC

I’ve worked in the Civil Service and been a member of PCS since 2001. I have spent all of that time in the Home Office, working between Croydon and Central London. I have been an activist since 2003 and have held positions both in my branch and nationally in the Home Office Group. I’m currently the Branch Secretary in Croydon and have been Group President in the Home Office for the last five years. I’ve also been proud to serve on the NEC for the last two years.
The last year has seen a number of high profile issues in the Home Office, such as pushbacks and the Rwanda scheme. I’m proud of the stand that PCS has taken on these issues. We have also seen membership growth of over 20% in the Group as we beat the 50% threshold in the national campaign ballot and have now been active in targeted action.
